Akanya’s newest project is to lead the team consisting of Akanya, BVI Consulting Engineers, Enterprises University of Pretoria and the CSIR in preparing South Africa’ first Regional Spatial Development Framework for the Karoo Region. The project spans four provinces and Akanya is looking forward to make a big impact according to our focus on places, people and prosperity.

Port Shepstone Precinct Investment Plan
Akanya is current working with a team of experts to prepare an investment plan for the Port Shepstone CBD funded by National Treasury’s Neighbourhood Development Partnership Grant. This project will pave to way for capital investment in this important node, stimulating economic development as well as delivering social services to a regional population of over 500 000.
